When the quartz movement was introduced, manufacture was moved to Hong Kong and more diverse styles of watches were made. Since 1988 Sekonda has been the best selling watch brand in units in the UK and continues to hold this accolade to this present day. Sekonda have introduced many different fashion brands, keeping Sekonda as the number one selling brand. In 2004 Seksy was introduced, aiming to target the 25-35 year age group.
